It now includes adaptive headlights, a rear-seat reminder system so passengers aren’t forgotten, and a passenger seatbelt warning light plus chime. Everything else from the inside out remains the same.

The 2021 Subaru Forester hasn’t changed much from previous model years, but there have been a few tweaks. Subaru introduced adaptive LED headlights onto all of its Forester models for 2021, but that’s the end of the “big” changes. There are other upgrades on upgraded trims, though. The Limited model includes a new seven-speed manual model if you opt for the continuously variable automatic transmission. All trim levels – except the base model, that is – have a new rear center console storage tray too.

The 2021 Subaru Crosstrek has undergone a bit of a refresh for the newest model year. This crossover SUV has a new front bumper and front grille, giving it a bit of a more modern look. What’s under the hood has also changed – drivers will get a new 2.5 liter cylinder engine that’s typically found on the Outback and Legacy models. You can still opt for a 2.0 liter engine, which comes standard on the base model.
There’s also a new trim option: the Crosstrek Sport trim. It includes some unique off-road features and is particularly handy if you’ll be driving in inclement weather. The Sport trim comes with snow/dirt and deep snow/mud settings for the standard all-wheel drive system, giving you more traction in rough road conditions.
